What is the MIREC Biobank?
The MIREC Biobank is made up of over 200,000 MIREC biological samples collected in the course of the MIREC study, as well as the MIREC-ID and MIREC-CD Plus follow-up studies.
It also includes data from dozens of questionnaires completed during MIREC and all the follow-up studies, as well as results from hundreds of laboratory tests on the collected biological samples.
This biobank is available to the scientific community, providing the proposed research is approved by the MIREC Biobank Management Committee.
